hinsonvinylrecords asked: Most coin I've ever dropped on a box set is $70. "West Coast Seattle Boy" Jimi Hendrix Anthology. 8 LP's. Money well spent. But I wouldn't have dropped $140 on it. No chance.
I have that, but it was a gift so no coin out of my pocket, lol. i have yet to buy a box set myself because i have yet see any i like for a price i like. i hope the day comes (soon) where i do come across one for. good, well below full price.
they’re reissuing Henry Mancini’s The Pink Panther for Record Store Day which means people are going to pay $20+ for a record they can easily find at a thrift stores for like 50 cents this is an outrage
That is chump change compared to Eagles vinyl box that sells six albums I see in dollar bins for $140.
why would anyone drop $140 on any box set, regardless of who it is? like tou said you can and usually will end up finding those things is used bins for $100 cheaper. dumbest thing i have ever heard of is dropping that much coin on anything like that.
Today I will need many cups of coffee to be a tolerable and respectable human being
to know how to be a good human being in life, titles and group affiliations.
